The Plot

As the Clans deal with their most recent trials, many new cats rise to higher positions in the Clans. One in particular is the new deputy of CloudClan, Shatteredclaw. As he takes assessment of his newfound power, plans are worked to find the way to take over all the Clans, to rule over cats with an iron paw. Over time, he forms a secret affiliation with Windchaser, the rebellious deputy of the rogues. To make sure that the leader won't get him when she finds out, he becomes mates with Swiftstar, to make sure that she can't kill him. When she finds out about the affiliation she is furious. But Swiftstar doesn't want her kits to grow up without a father, just as Shatteredclaw thought. She has no choice but to join with the two murderous, power loving cats. Meanwhile, the other clans have no idea what is going on. Shadowstar is still believing that he is in league with CloudClan. Aspenstar and Skystar still have a strong affiliation going, and ask Shadowstar to join them, for CloudClan has by far been showing their dark side, since earlier they had attacked SolarClan. Shadowstar already is with CloudClan, and he's uneasy about this feat. Aspenstar and Skystar must convince him to turn on CloudClan before it's too late...
